I like metal furniture, I do. Wood furniture seems too delicate and earthy for my taste; I prefer the contemporary, industrial look myself. Metal is durable, sturdy and beautiful. The industrial look is in these days and I have spent a lot of time and efforts creating that feel in my upscale restaurant and bar. You would think that creating a “less is more” style restaurant would be easy. It’s not. Sure, simple raw materials are available everywhere but its different for a restaurant, they have to be safe and able to withstand heavy use.
For example, when it was time for me to buy barstools, I obviously wanted something that would last and still fit into my overall design plan. I already knew I wanted metal barstool, that was a given, so I started my search online for a product that would suit my needs. I found these beautiful, sturdy metal barstools on Premiere Barstools. They were a perfect match for the restaurant.
